[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide IaaS and supporting services
1. Must meet the security requirements defined in A-3.
2. Must be able to host services in more than one Canadian point of presence that meets at a minimum the Tier 3 Data center standard.
3. At a minimum, one datacentre must be at least 500 KM away.
4. Bids will only be accepted directly from Cloud providers as defined in Appendix A-5 of this document. If a Cloud provider does not offer a direct to client business model, the Cloud provider may designate one partner to respond. In this instance, a letter from the Cloud provider naming the one exclusive partner is required and should accompany the bid.
5. Must allow GNB absolute ownership over its account and all data GNB uploads to the cloud.
6. Must be able to provide customizable (CPU and RAM) virtual machine instances capable of running GNB's frequently used operating systems including current versions of Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Linux.
7. Must be able to provide tiered storage service options (e.g. block, file, tape) in a variety of access methods and performance characteristics. (e.g. Internet, VPN, service connecting an on-premises software appliance with cloud-based storage)
8. Must have options to connect directly to cloud services via private internet exchange points in GNB’s existing points of presence in Montreal and Toronto. (Cologix MTL3 and TOR1 facilities)
9. Must be able to provide options for management and support services in both official Canadian languages 24x7x365.
10.Must publish or provide formal Service Level Agreement. Please supply a copy with this response or provide a link to the published content.

- Onshore (Canada Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
